BUSlink CipherShield Internal Bay Drive provides an economical and convenient way of securing sensitive confidential data from falling into the wrong hands. It allows you to encrypt the entire hard drive, including the data, temp and swap files, boot sector, and even the OS itself. Like our successful external CipherShield drives, the internal CipherShield drive bay protects the connected hard drive.

It is installed into any standard 5.25" drive bay, and activated by the CipherKey which will encrypt the drive and make the data inaccessible, even when the entire computer is lost or stolen. Data stored on the hard drive are safeguarded by National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) certified industrial strength AES (Advanced Encryption standard) cryptographic engine.
